03 June (HS): The grand ritual of the second Prana Pratishtha in Shri Ram

Janmabhoomi temple has started in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex from Tuesday with

Vedic rituals. Puja rituals are being performed in the Yagya Shala of the

complex since 6:30 am, in which sacrifices will be made to the fire god with

1975 mantras. Along with this, Ram Raksha Stotra, Hanuman Chalisa and other

devotional hymns are being recited.

On

this historic occasion, the installation of Ram Darbar on the first floor of

the Ram temple and consecration of idols in six other temples located in the

fort are being done. This ceremony will be completed on the auspicious occasion

of Ganga Dussehra on June 5. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust is

leading this event.

The

main ceremony will be held on June 5, which will include the Prana Pratishtha

of Ram Darbar (Shri Ram, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman) along with installation of

deity idols in six other temples. The main Prana Pratishtha will be held on

June 5 during the Abhijit Muhurta between 11:25 am and 11:40 am.

Trust

General Secretary Champat Rai said that the ritual of Prana Pratishtha is being

performed by 101 Vedic Acharyas under the leadership of Kashi's scholar Pandit

Jaiprakash. Today, on June 4, various Adhivas and Palki Yatra will be

organized, while the main Prana Pratishtha ceremony will be held on June 5.

Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra and his wife are the main hosts in the ceremony.

Prominent people present in the temple are General Secretary Champat Rai,

Treasurer Govind Dev Giri, Shankaracharya Vasudevanand Saraswati, Yugpurush

Parmanand Maharaj, Rameshwar Das Shri Vaishnav etc.

The

event began on Monday with the Jal Kalash Yatra by the women powers. The yatra

began from the old aarti site of the Saryu river and passed through

Shringarhat, Hanumangarhi, and Dashrath Mahal and ended at the Yagna Mandap of

the Ram temple.
