New Delhi, June 3 (H.S.): Punjab National Bank (PNB) has cut interest rates on education loans under the Vidyalakshmi scheme by 20 basis points to 7.5 percent. This move aims to enhance accessibility to education. The Vidyalakshmi scheme, also known as PM-Vidyalakshmi, provides financial assistance to students for quality higher education without requiring collateral or a guarantor. It is available to those gaining admission based on merit to 860 recognized Quality Higher Education Institutions (QHEIs) in India.
