New Delhi, June 3 (H.S.): The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has extended the judicial custody of Aam Aadmi Party leader Naresh Balyan and other accused in the MCOCA case until July 5. Special Judge Digvijay Singh ordered a hearing on July 5 to frame charges against all accused. During the hearing, the court directed the Delhi Police to continue the investigation against accused Vikas Gehlot in this case. Today, all accused, including Naresh Balyan, were presented in court via video conferencing. Previously, on May 27, the court had rejected Naresh Balyan's second bail application filed in this case. The court took cognizance of the supplementary charge sheet filed against Naresh Balyan, as well as Sahil alias Poly, Vijay alias Kalu, and Jyoti Prakash alias Baba. The court has taken cognizance against them under sections 3 and 4 of MCOCA. On February 24, the court had taken cognizance of the charge sheet filed against Ritik Peter.
