- Encroachment removal campaign was run in the Institute of Cooperative Management, Minister was present

Guwahati, 3 June (HS): Assam government minister Jayantamalla Barua has said that the road in Bondajan has been constructed in the interest of the local people. He said, Whether we have done the right thing by building this road or not, the local people will decide this. If the public says that they do not want this road, then we will break it ourselves.

Minister Barua clarified that this road is making the lives of the local people easier, but if the common people consider it unnecessary, then the government is also ready to remove it at its own level.

Meanwhile, to prevent artificial floods, the encroachment removal drive was again run in the Shilsako area, in which Minister Jayantamalla Barua himself was present and monitored the entire drive.

This drive was run in the Institute of Cooperative Management campus, where the administration took action to remove illegal constructions. The administration has appealed to the local people for cooperation.
