Delhi, 3 June (H.S.): The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare is set to conduct the 13th Pension Adalat on June 4, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, chaired by Dr. Jitendra Singh, MoS for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. Focused on “Family Pension,” the Adalat will address 415 grievances related to family pension matters across 19 Departments/Ministries. The grievances, listed department-wise, include issues from the Central Board of Direct Taxes (3), Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (2), Defence Finance (8), Ex Servicemen Welfare (62), and others, totaling 415. The initiative aims to resolve longstanding grievances, ensuring pensioners receive their rightful dues, including addressing delays in the initiation of family pensions and procedural hindrances preventing correct processing and disbursement.
