New Delhi, June 03 (H.S.): Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has condemned the ongoing massacre in Gaza and raised concerns over rising anti-Muslim violence in India, including the targeting of Muslim properties with bulldozers. At a press conference in Abul Fazal, Vice President Prof. Salim Engineer denounced Israeli attacks and expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, urging an immediate ceasefire, lifting of the blockade, and restoration of Palestinian rights. He called on the Indian government to adopt a strong stance and demand international action against Israel.

Malik Motasim Khan, also a Vice President, highlighted the alarming attack on Muslim meat traders in Aligarh and criticized the misuse of bulldozers against Muslim homes and madrasas in Uttar Pradesh, noting that many legally registered madrasas have been sealed or demolished illegally. He emphasized that such actions violate constitutional rights and threaten India's democratic fabric. Lastly, Prof. Salim expressed sorrow over devastating floods in northeastern states, which have resulted in over 30 fatalities, assuring that Jamaat is providing relief to affected victims.
