New Delhi, June 3 (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu stated on Tuesday that Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers can play a significant role in building a developed India. She emphasized that officials should utilize technology and innovation in their work to provide more efficient and transparent administration.Addressing IAS officers participating in the 127th training program at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, President Murmu said they should maintain fairness, transparency, and accountability in their work. She mentioned that officials should exercise their authority with empathy, courage, and impartiality.She highlighted that the role of IAS officers in constructing a developed India is very important. She urged officials to focus on the welfare of the poor and marginalized sections and ensure that they do not lag in the country's development.The President noted that technology and innovation can play a significant role in administration. She stated that by utilizing digital tools, administration can be made more efficient, transparent, and citizen-friendly. She advised officials to adopt innovations in AI, e-governance, and digital feedback mechanisms.
