New Delhi, June 03(HS): Global market signals are mixed today. The US market closed stronger in the previous session, but Dow Jones futures are trading lower now. European markets exhibited mixed results, with the FTSE index slightly up by 0.02 percent, while the CAC and DAX indices decreased by 0.19 and 0.28 percent, respectively. In the US, the S&P 500 rose 0.41 percent to 5,935.94 points, and the Nasdaq climbed 0.67 percent to 19,242.61 points, reflecting good buying from lower levels. Currently, Dow futures are down 0.30 percent at 42,179.20 points.

In Asia, there is an overall upward trend, with five of the nine markets in the green. The KOSPI and SET Composite indices are inactive today due to holidays. The Nifty index is down by 0.21 percent, and the Straits Times index has dropped by 0.09 percent. Meanwhile, the Nikkei added 0.28 percent, the Shanghai Composite rose by 0.48 percent, and the Hang Seng climbed 1.09 percent. Taiwan Weighted gained 0.77 percent, while the Jakarta Composite increased by 0.08 percent.
