Paris, June 3 (H.S.): Novak Djokovic reached the French Open quarterfinals by defeating Cameron Norrie 6-2, 6-3, 6-2, marking his 100th match win at Roland Garros, joining Rafael Nadal in a distinguished group. This victory makes Djokovic the second man to achieve 100 wins at the tournament, trailing Nadal's record of 112.

With this match, Roland Garros becomes Djokovic’s most successful Grand Slam in match wins, surpassing his 99 at the Australian Open, where he has claimed the title 10 times. Djokovic, who had recently secured his 100th tour-level trophy, remains undefeated in this tournament, showcasing his relentless pursuit of further accomplishments.

It's a very pretty number, but 101 victories sounds better. I will continue to search for another victory, it's clearly not finished for me here. I'm very honoured to make history in this sport, which has given me everything in my life, Djokovic said.

I feel good. I always have high expectations, Djokovic said. In the end, it's 12 sets played, 12 sets won, so it's all positive and solid up until now.

He and Norrie exchanged breaks early in the first set, but Djokovic quickly gained control, overcoming a brief challenge in the second set to increase his lead on Court Philippe Chatrier.

He secured a decisive break in the third set, ensuring his advancement to face German third seed Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals.
