Murshidabad, 3 June (H.S.) : A gruesome murder of a Class 10 student has sent shockwaves through the Raghunathganj area of West Bengal’s Murshidabad district. The body of a teenage girl was found in a semi-nude state with her throat slit on Tuesday morning in Bhatupada under the Raninagar gram panchayat. The victim was a student of a local government school.
Upon receiving information, officers from the Raghunathganj police station arrived at the scene and recovered the body, which was then sent to Jangipur Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem examination. Preliminary investigations suggest the girl was killed by slitting her throat.
