New Delhi, June 03 (H.S.): The pace of COVID-19 rapidly escalates in India, with over 4,000 infections reported by Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, five deaths occurred, confirmed by the Union Health Ministry: one in Kerala, two in Maharashtra, one in Tamil Nadu, and one in West Bengal.
The total number of infected individuals stands at 4,026, predominantly in Kerala (1,416 cases), followed by Maharashtra (494), Gujarat (397), and Delhi (393). Notably, Delhi saw a decrease of 90 infections, while Gujarat experienced an increase of 59 cases within the same timeframe.
