Guwahati, 28 June (HS): Guwahati's Fatasil Ambari police took action in a car theft case and arrested four accused on Saturday and also recovered the stolen vehicle.

It is noteworthy that on June 21, a person named Iman Ali had lodged an FIR in Fatasil Ambari police station that his Tata Yodha vehicle (AS-01 QC 1628) was stolen by an unknown person from the parking area at Jyotikuchi, Dhopolia.

During the investigation of the case, the police caught an accused Fuski alias Somesh Ali from Rangia, who confessed to committing the crime during interrogation. On his information, Nitu Saha, Dinesh Gogoi and Ranjan Gogoi were also arrested in this case.

On Saturday, the police recovered the stolen Tata Yodha vehicle from Rangia railway station. The police is investigating the matter further.
