Bhubaneswar, 28 June (H.S.): On the basis of allegations regarding possession of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond known sources of income by Sri Susil Kumar Panda, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), Ganjam Block, District Ganjam, Odisha Vigilance has launched simultaneous searches at seven different locations.

The operation is being carried out by a team comprising 6 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), 7 Inspectors, and other supporting personnel. The searches are being conducted under the authority of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur. a press release from Vigilance deapartment said.

The locations under search include a three-storeyed building at Ram Hari Nagar, Berhampur; Flat No. 205 in Mukteshwar Apartment, Ankuli, Berhampur; another flat in Mukteshwar Apartment, Ankuli, Berhampur, registered in the name of his brother; a flat located at Chudanga Sahi, Puri; his ancestral house in village Gudali, Kabisuryanagar, Ganjam; the residence of his in-laws at Bedha, Purushottampur, Ganjam; and his office at Ganjam Block.
