Aligarh,

28 June (HS): Two workers tragically perished in a tank filled with animal

blood at an Aligarh meat processing facility.

Despite screams for help, both succumbed to the fumes and perished. A thorough inquiry has been launched to

determine any failures by management. A

sad tragedy claimed the lives of two workers at a meat processing plant in

Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. On Friday, Imran

and Asif were cleaning a tank filled with animal blood when they were overcome

by fumes, drowned. The plant, located on

the city's outskirts near Talaspur, experienced this unforeseeable calamity

when one of the workers became dizzy.

When he called for aid on the tank's steps, his colleague tried a

rescue, but both died as a result of the toxic atmosphere. Following the

participation of local authorities and party leaders, an investigation has been

launched, with the Pollution Department participating. According to Additional District Magistrate

Amit Kumar, initial findings indicate that no urgent senior oversight was

provided during the occurrence.
