28 June (HS): A 55-year-old private school manager's blood-soaked body was

discovered on the institute's porch on Saturday morning, where he slept on a

daily basis, with authorities claiming he was slain with an axe. Dhananjay Pal

of the DDN Public School in Ramnagar Tola was attacked with an axe with the

purpose of decapitating him in his sleep, according to a police officer. Before

departing, the attacker tossed the axe into the forests about 100 meters away

from the school. According to Superintendent of Police Vikrant Vir, the axe,

which was coated in blood, was retrieved from the bushes near the school. At the crime site, forensic teams and dog

squads gathered evidence such as bloodstains and footprints. The school's grounds have been sealed.

North Arvind Kumar Verma said initial inquiries indicate to an old rivalry as

the cause for the murder, implying a pre-planned attack. According to police, a

FIR has been issued in response to a complaint submitted by Pal's wife, Murari

Devi.
