Guwahati, 28 June (HS): The railway route has been disrupted due to debris and boulder falling on kilometer 108/7-8 of the track between Jatinga Lumpur and New Haflong in Lumding division. Due to this, many trains have been cancelled, partially cancelled, rescheduled and controlled.
Chief Public Relations Officer of Northeast Frontier Railway Kapinjal Kishore Sharma said on Saturday that the cancelled trains (starting journey on June 28) include train number 15611 (Rangiya – Silchar) Express, train number 15615 (Guwahati – Silchar) Express and train number 15617 (Guwahati – Dullabcherra) Express.
Cancelled trains (starting on 29th June) include train number 15616 (Silchar – Guwahati) Express, train number 15618 (Dullabhcherra – Guwahati) Express and train number 01666 (Agartala – Rani Kamalapati) special trains.
Partially cancelled trains include train number 15626 (Agartala – Deoghar) Express (28th June). This train will start from Guwahati and will be partially cancelled between Agartala to Guwahati.
Rescheduled trains include train number 15612 (Silchar - Rangiya) Express (29th June, 2025): Now this train will run on 30th June at 05:00 am, whereas earlier its time was 29th June at 22:40 pm.
Among the controlled trains are train no. 13175 (Sealdah – Silchar) Kanchenjunga Express (June 28): It will be controlled as far as possible between Guwahati and New Haflong.
The Northeast Frontier Railway has appealed to the passengers for cooperation and regretted the inconvenience.
