New Delhi, June 28 (HS): Public sector Canara Bank on Friday presented a dividend cheque of ₹2,283.41 crores to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the financial year 2024-25. This transfer reflects the outstanding performance of public sector banks in this financial year.
According to a statement released by the Finance Minister's office, K. Satyanarayana Raju, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Canara Bank, handed over the dividend cheque of ₹2,283.41 crores for the financial year 2024-25 to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Also present on this occasion were Canara Bank's Executive Directors Hardeep Singh Ahluwalia, Bhavendra Kumar, and S.K. Majumdar.
