24 June (HS): Prior to the commencement of 25th meeting of the
Central Regional Council on Tuesday in the religious city of Kashi, Uttar
Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the Kashi Puradhipati Baba
Vishwanath and Shri Sankatmochan Temple. After worshiping in both the temples,
the Chief Minister prayed to Mahadev and Shri Sankatmochan for the success of
the meeting and for peace and happiness in the country and state. After worshiping
in the temple, the Chief Minister wrote on his official social media account
that I will participate in the meeting of the Central Regional Council today in
the land of Baba Vishwanath, the indestructible Kashi. This council, which
strengthens federal unity, national integrity and regional development, will
give new strength and momentum to the vision of Team India of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi. He wrote that the Chief Minister of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the land of Baba Mahakal, the Chief Minister of Madhya
Pradesh Mohan Yadav and the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, the holy land of
Maa Danteshwari, Vishnu Dev Sai, are participating in the meeting of the
Central Regional Council.
In
the morning, during the arrival and departure of the Chief Minister, the
traffic on the road was stopped for some time. Amid tight security, the Chief
Minister arrived from the Circuit House to visit the temples. After offering
prayers at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the Chief Minister reached Shri Sankatmochan
Temple and was welcomed by the Mahant of the temple, Prof. Vishwambhar Nath
Mishra. During this, Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das Satua Baba, former minister
of the state and MLA of City South Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari, Cabinet Minister of
the state Anil Rajbhar, MLA Saurabh Srivastava were also present.
