New Delhi, June 24 (H.S.): The Election Commission has sent a letter to Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, regarding an article he published on May 7 in an English newspaper that raised concerns about the Maharashtra elections.

The letter, dated June 12, has been delivered to his residence and sent via email as well. The Commission noted that the issues he mentioned have already been addressed in detail and emphasized its decentralized election process involving over one lakh agents from political parties at the booth level. They pointed out that any election-related issues would likely have been raised by Congress candidates in court. However, the Commission is open to discussing any remaining issues with Rahul Gandhi and is willing to arrange a convenient meeting time for further discussions.
