Dhubri (Assam), 24 June (HS): Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is arriving once again on a tour of Dhubri on Tuesday. In the afternoon, he will attend an important meeting with the top administrative and police officials of the district in the auditorium of Circuit House in Dhubri.

It is noteworthy that a tense atmosphere had arisen in various areas of the city after beef was found near the Hanuman temple located in Ward No. 3 area of Dhubri on the day after Eid.

Chief Minister Dr. Sarma had also reached Dhubri on June 13 to review the situation and matters related to law and order. Since the Chief Minister's visit to Dhubri that day, no untoward incident has occurred in the city so far.
