
Kolkata, 22 June (H.S.): A massive fire broke out at paint factories and storage areas in Barasat, West Bengal on Saturday evening. The police report that at least 20 fire engines were used to control the flames, which spread quickly due to flammable materials. No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown. The area was evacuated for safety, and local MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar is monitoring the situation.
The fire broke out around 7.30 pm. It spread fast because of the likely presence of highly inflammable materials inside... 20 fire tenders and a large number of police personnel are at the spot, a police officer said.
