21 June (HS): After the Yoga Day program, Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash
Rajbhar took a dig at SP national president Akhilesh Yadav and said, if he had
learnt to copy, he would have gained wisdom. He also termed the Samajwadi Party
as a party that robs the rights of the backward classes.
Om
Prakash Rajbhar, the minister in charge of the district and the minister of
Panchayati Raj and Minority Welfare of the Uttar Pradesh government, on
Saturday participated in the 11th International Yoga Day organized at the
Environment Park in Sitakund. Accusing the SP chief and former chief minister
Akhilesh for the upliftment of the backward castes, he said that he could not
even provide 27 percent reservation to all castes. 800 riots took place during
the Samajwadi Party rule. Akhilesh Yadav had made 46 out of 86 Yadavs as SDMs
in his government. The SBSP supremo has advised to learn from former chief
minister Mayawati. On this occasion a large number of people participated in
the yoga event.
On
this occasion, Divisional Commissioner Ayodhya Mandal Gaurav Dayal, District
Magistrate Kumar Harsh, Superintendent of Police Kunwar Anupam Singh, CDO Ankur
Kaushik participated and practiced yoga. Apart from this, group yoga practice
was done with all the officers and employees of the police department in Police
Line Sultanpur. Various yogasanas, pranayama and meditation exercises were done
under the guidance of yoga instructors.
At
the same time, hundreds of people did yoga in the morning at Tikonia Park under
the guidance of Pallavi Verma and Dr. Kuldeep Pandey in a program of meditation
yoga under the joint aegis of Art of Living and Gayatri Parivar. Along with
this, yoga programs were organized in schools across the district.
