Baksa (Assam), 21 June (HS): A state-level function was organized on the occasion of the 11th International Yoga Day on Saturday at Salbari in Baksa. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma participated in this program. During the program, live telecast of the event of Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the Yoga Day celebrations was also done.

Along with the Chief Minister, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Pramod Boro, Assam Government Minister Jayant Mallabarua, Urkhao Gaura Brahma, MLA Phanidhar Talukdar, many executive members of BTR, council officials also participated in the Yoga Day. About 2000 citizens participated in the Yoga Day program. After doing yoga, Chief Minister Dr. Sarma talked to the media and talked in detail about the importance of yoga.
