20 June (HS): A day before
International Yoga Day, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said in a yoga
practice program at Central Sanskrit University, Lucknow that one should adopt
yoga for a healthy mind, healthy body and healthy life. Those who practice yoga
remain full of energy. The students of the university are requested to make
yoga a part of their life. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, while
congratulating the university management and students on International Yoga
Day, said that India has led the yoga discipline. India has taken yoga to the
world level. Today, under the leadership of India, the whole world is
practicing yoga. People are becoming healthy by practicing yoga. Yoga is at the
core of India and every Indian should study and practice the whole of yoga.
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister also
dedicated the Sri Jagannath Panchaga. The main participants of the yoga
practice program were Director Professor Sarv Narayan, Professor Madan Mohan
Jha, Professor P.V.B. Subramanyam, Professor Madan Mohan Pathak, Professor
Bharat Bhushan Tripathi, Professor Shridevi Prasad Dwivedi, Professor Avnish
Agarwal and respected Acharyas from various campuses of different states and a
large number of university students.
