Maharashtra, 2 June (H.S.) :Mumbai, 02 June (HS):
Three travellers in a car died and one was injured on Sunday night, as their
car fell into the Waghadi River on Badegaon-Balapur Road in Akola District. The
injured has been shifted to a Government Hospital in Akola. Akola police lifted
the car from the river on Monday morning.
According to police,
the Balapur residents were returning from Badegaon on Sunday night, when their
car veered off the bridge following a tyre puncture. The car fell into the
river, breaking the security wall. Three travellers died on the spot, while the
injured one was rescued by the police and admitted to the hospital in Akola.
The deceased have been identified
as Kanhaiya Sinh Thakur (54), Vishal Bhanudas Solankar (45), and Sushil Sharma
(45). Ashish Kanhaiya Sinh Thakur was seriously injured in the accident.
