Bhubaneswar, 2 June (H.S.) : The Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a high-level strategy meeting at the party headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Monday to chart out plans for upcoming celebrations marking two key milestones — 11 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre and the completion of one year of the BJP-led government in Odisha under Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

Senior leaders of the state BJP, including key office bearers and strategists, participated in the meeting, which focused on launching an intensive outreach campaign ahead of the twin anniversaries. The party aims to highlight the developmental achievements and policy initiatives of both the central and state governments through a series of public engagement programmes.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, a party spokesperson said, “The BJP will soon roll out a comprehensive outreach initiative to connect with citizens across the state. It will be an occasion to celebrate the success of the double-engine government and reinforce our commitment to Odisha’s progress.”

Sources within the party indicated that the planned activities will include public rallies, grassroots-level interactions, beneficiary meets, and media campaigns. Special emphasis will be placed on showcasing welfare schemes, infrastructure development, and governance reforms implemented over the past year in Odisha and over the last 11 years nationally.
