Imphal, 2 June (HS). A moderate intensity earthquake was felt in Churachandpur district of Manipur early this morning. It has been reported that the earthquake was felt at 02:55:39 am. Its intensity was measured at 3.5 on the Richter scale. There is no news of any kind of damage due to the earthquake.

According to the Indian Seismology Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 15 kilometers below the ground in Churachandpur district, bordering India and Myanmar. The epicentre of the earthquake was located at 24.08 North latitude and 93.61 East longitude.--------
