02 June (HS): Telangana State Foundation Day was celebrated on Monday in the
Gandhi Auditorium of Raj Bhavan. In the program, attractive presentations of
traditional folk dances like Madhuri Dance, Harvest Dance, Batukamma Dance,
Janapada Dance, Banjara Dance, Dhimsa Dance and Lambadi were given, showing the
rich cultural heritage of Telangana. Through this event, not only the cultural,
historical and social specialties of Telangana state were presented
respectfully, but the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat was also
strengthened, which reflects unity in diversity.
The
Raj Bhavan administration said that Telangana State Foundation Day was
celebrated today in the Gandhi Auditorium under the inspiration of Governor
Anandiben Patel. The Governor believes that this initiative will prove to be an
inspiring effort towards strengthening the cultural integrity of the nation,
increasing mutual understanding and harmony between the states and connecting
future generations with the glorious heritage of India. Prominently present in
the program were Special Secretary to the Governor Shriprakash Gupta, Special
Officer Education Pankaj L. Jani, officers of UP's Culture Department and
officers and employees of Raj Bhavan along with other dignitaries.
