Chennai, 19 June (H.S.): Padmshri award winner Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is reportedly in talks to play a crucial role in Ajith Kumar's 64th film, which will be directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film is expected to begin production in November 2025, targeting a summer 2026 release.

According to sources, Adhik Ravichandran has already narrated the story to Mohanlal, and the producers are finalizing the remuneration for the six-time National Award-winning actor.

This project marks another significant collaboration between Adhik Ravichandran and Ajith Kumar, following their successful film Good Bad Ugly. The duo's reunion is expected to generate substantial buzz, especially with Mohanlal on board. Srinidhi Shetty is likely to play the leading lady opposite Ajith Kumar, and an official announcement is expected soon.
