Guwahati, 19 June (HS): An AC mechanic killed on the spot due to electrocution in the Jonali area of Guwahati metropolis. Police said that on Thursday, while repairing the AC of Bajaj showroom located in the Jonali area, an AC mechanic named Vishwajit Singh killed on the spot due to electrocution.

On receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot and recovered the body of the AC mechanic from the river flowing near the showroom and sent it to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. Police have registered an FIR in this regard and are investigating the matter.
