Bongaigaon (Assam), 18 June (HS): The body of a policeman was found hanging from a noose in the Mererchar police station premises of Bangaigaon district on Wednesday morning. He has been identified as Budheshwar Roy, who was on duty at the police station.

According to the information, local people saw the body hanging from the noose inside the police station premises. After this, the police officials came to know. Senior police officers reached the spot and started investigation. However, the exact details behind the alleged suicide have not been revealed. ----
