Hojai (Assam), 17 June (HS): Police have arrested two vehicle theft accused with two stolen bikes from Dubbaka in Hojai district. Police said on Tuesday that two stolen bikes (AS-02N1828 and AS-01DE-4957) were recovered during a drive conducted on the basis of secret information.

Police have said that both the bikes have been recovered during the drive conducted at different places. Bike thieves Habibur and Ziabur have been arrested in this case.

It is known that the bike (AS-02N-1828) was stolen from Rupahihat three and a half years ago. An FIR was lodged in Rupahihat police station by bike owner Azizur Haque regarding the incident. But for the last more than three years, nothing was known about the bike. Police is conducting intensive interrogation of both the arrested thieves on the basis of the FIR already registered.
