16 June (HS): Indirapuram police station on Monday arrested a drug peddler and

recovered smack worth about Rs 1 cr, an electronic weighing machine, Rs 10,200

cash and a car used in the crime from his possession. Police is taking further

legal action.

Abhishek Srivastava said that during checking, Indirapuram police station has

arrested Sachin, a smuggler selling smack. He is a resident of Sundar Nagari,

Nand Nagari, Delhi.

On

interrogating the arrested accused Sachin, it came to light that he used to buy

the recovered 685 gram smack from Delhi at cheap rates and after making small

packets of smack with the help of electronic weighing machine, he used to sell

it to drug addicts at high prices. In this way, the accused earns more profit. A

case under Arms Act has been registered against the arrested accused Sachin at

Nand Nagri Police Station, Delhi.
