Hathinala police station area, police arrested a youth on Monday morning for

posting an objectionable video of Lord Shri Ram on social media. Superintendent

of Police Ashok Kumar Meena said that on Sunday a person alleged that Suraj

Jatav has posted an objectionable video of Lord Shri Ram on his Instagram ID.

This video has been circulated with the malicious intent of insulting Hindu

religion and hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus. This has caused a lot

of anger. His act can spoil communal harmony among the people. Taking immediate

cognizance of this matter, Hathinala police station in-charge registered a case

under IT Act and other sections and deployed police teams in search of the

accused youth. After investigation, the police team has arrested Suraj Jatav, a

resident of Saudih village. The police team has deleted the objectionable video

from Instagram. Further action is being taken by sending the arrested accused

to the court.
