Dhubri (Assam), 15 Jun (HS): An woman killed after being hit by a train in New Hathipot area of Chappar. GRP sources have said that the woman was hit by a train while crossing the railway track on Sunday. The woman has been identified as Mehran Bibi (52) of Hathipot.

After the train collision, the woman was admitted to the hospital in Chappar, but the woman killed in the hospital. Railway Police Officer Apurva Talukdar was present in the hospital and made all the arrangements for the postmortem of the dead body. This incident has sent a wave of mourning in the area.
