14 June (HS): As many as, four people
died in separate incidents in different disricts of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. In
a heart-rending accident on Saturday morning in Devri Uttar village under
Lahangpur police outpost area of Lalganj police station in Mirzapur sent a
wave of mourning in the village. 40-year-old village resident Mallu son of late
Dangar died a painful death after falling into a dry well. It was revealed that
Mallu was sleeping near his goats on Friday night. He went out for urination at
night, but in the dark he fell into an old dry well near the house. When the
family members kept searching for him for a long time and looked into the well,
everyone was stunned. He was taken out in a hurry, but by then he had stopped
breathing. As soon as the information of the incident was received, Lahangpur
police station in-charge Vijay Kumar Rai reached the spot and took the body in
possession and sent it for post-mortem after necessary action. There is an atmosphere
of mourning in the village due to this sudden accident.
Meanwhile, under the Pachokhara
police station area in Farrukhabad, a middle-aged man guarding his field
committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun late on Friday night. The
police have brought the body to the hospital for postmortem and have started
investigating the incident. Sarvesh Kumar (45), a resident of Gadhi Nirbhay
village of Pachokhara police station area, used to work in a glass factory. On
Friday, it was the death anniversary of his cousin. At around 11 pm, after
attending the death anniversary, he went to sleep on the field located 50
meters behind the house. On Saturday, when the younger brother's daughter
Lakshmi went to the field, she saw that Sarvesh's body was lying on the cot
soaked in blood. She came home and informed the family about the incident. A
crowd of villagers also gathered at the spot. The deceased's wife Neeraj Devi,
two sons Sandeep, Ranjit and daughter Sarita along with other family members
reached the spot. A pistol was lying near him. The bullet had hit below the
ear. On receiving the information, ASP City Ravi Shankar Prasad, CO Ambrish
Kumar, SHO Parul Mishra and Tundla Inspector Anjish Kumar reached the spot.
Field unit and forensic team collected evidence. In this regard, Additional
Superintendent of Police City Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the middle-aged man
was guarding the field; he committed suicide by shooting himself with a weapon.
Action is being taken after investigating the incident.
Furrhermore, in Koch Kotwali area of
Jalaun, the elder brother died of shock after hearing the news of his brother's
death in a road accident. The atmosphere of the village is gloomy due to the
death of two brothers in quick succession. The family members are also in a bad
state due to crying. 73-year-old
Ramcharan Prajapati, a resident of the village, went to the fields near his
house to defecate. It is being told that some unknown vehicle hit him. Due to
which he died on the spot. In the morning, when his family members went to the
fields to defecate, they saw Ramcharan's dead body lying there. The news of the
old man's death spread in the entire village. At the same time, the 85-year-old
elder brother of the deceased Ramcharan, Tularam, came to know about the
matter. So he also went towards the fields to see him. But on the way, the
family members stopped him and asked him to go home. Without seeing his brother
for the last time, the old man returned home and lay down on the cot. At the
same time, the elder brother also died while lying on the cot in shock of his
brother's death.
It is being said that the elder
brother could not bear the shock of the death of his younger brother and he
died of cardiac arrest. On receiving the information, the police reached the
spot and prepared the Panchnama of one of the bodies and sent it for
postmortem. There is an atmosphere of grief in the village due to two deaths
occurring simultaneously.
Meanwhile, Konch police station
in-charge Vijay Shankar Pandey said that both the bodies have been taken into
custody and sent for post-mortem. The cause of death will be confirmed after
the post-mortem report.
Furthermorre on Saturday, a
competitive student was found hanging in a lodge located in Bailey village of
Cantt police station area of Prayagraj.
The police team, which arrived on the information, has taken the body in its
custody and started investigation. Police say that prima facie the case appears
to be a suicide. However, a post-mortem will be conducted to know the exact
cause of death. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abhishek Bharti said that on
Saturday morning, the Cantt police station received information that a student
has committed suicide by hanging himself in a lodge located in Baili village.
The police team that reached the spot after getting the information has taken
the body in its custody and started investigation. During interrogation, it was
found that Sahil Yadav, 20 years, son of Ram Pratap Yadav, a resident of Dalapur
Dhimi village of Kunda police station area of Pratapgarh district, was a BA
first year student. He was preparing for competitive exams by taking a rented
room here. On Saturday, when he did not come out of the room, people living
nearby got suspicious and looked inside the room and then came to know about
the incident. Legal action is being taken after taking the body in custody. The
police team has contacted the family. Further action will be taken when the
family members arrive.
