Bhopal, June 14(HS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) executed raids in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan to probe the terrorist conspiracy linked to the banned organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT). Searches were carried out at three sites in Bhopal and two in Jhalawar, leading to the seizure of digital devices for forensic analysis. This action, under case RC-15/2023/NIA/DLI related to HuT, is part of the NIA's efforts to dismantle terrorist networks that aim to disrupt national integrity.

The investigation targets HUHT's activities in radicalizing and recruiting vulnerable Muslim youth to undermine India's democratic government and promote violence for establishing an Islamic state under Sharia law. The NIA emphasizes its commitment to addressing such conspiracies and continues its investigation regarding the organization's members and operations.
