Raipur, June 14 (HS) - Late last night in village P. V. 70 Shantnagar, Kanker district, five family members attempted suicide by poison. Tragically, three children—Varsha Bairagi (11), Deepti Bairagi (7), and Deoraj Bairagi (5)—died. The parents were rescued in time and are receiving treatment at Pakhanjore civil hospital. The police are investigating the incident, gathering evidence, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The reasons behind this tragic event remain unclear, with initial reports suggesting it may be related to a domestic issue.
