Lucknow, 14 June (HS): Appointment
letters will be distributed to the candidates selected for 60,244 posts of
constable civil police in Uttar Pradesh Police on June 15. Union Home Minister
Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guests at the
ceremony organized at the Defense Expo Ground. Preparations for this are going
on in full swing. Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna reached the Defense
Expo Ground on Saturday and inspected the venue.
Director General of Police Rajiv Krishna told reporters that
grand preparations are underway for the appointment letter distribution
ceremony of the newly selected police constables at the Defense Expo Ground. The
selected candidates include men and women. Selected candidates will reach
Lucknow from every corner of every district. For this, proper transport
arrangements have also been made from the districts. All arrangements have been
made keeping in mind their accommodation, food and heat. Officers from all
departments are playing their part to make this event a success.
The DGP said that conducting this examination with
transparency was a challenging task for the police. Before this examination, many
examinations were conducted in which many questions were raised. Departmental
officials took it as a challenge and played an important role in making the
examination successful. The selected candidates will be given appointment
letters tomorrow.
In view of this event, the Traffic Directorate has diverted
traffic routes in 10 districts including Lucknow and Kanpur. There will be a
ban on heavy vehicles in Lucknow. In view of the Home Minister's presence in
Lucknow, extensive security arrangements have been made at the venue and
surrounding areas. Checking campaigns are being conducted on all routes. For
security purposes, metal detectors, CCTV cameras and drones will be installed
at the venue. Police officers in plain clothes will be present.

Recruitment and Promotion Board ADG Mutha Ashok Jain, Ashok Kumar Singh and
many other senior police officers will be present in the program.
It is worth noting that the UP Police Recruitment Board had
declared the final result of 60244 posts of constable civil police on 13 March
2025. 48,17,441 had applied online. 12048 female candidates are also included
among those who passed the examination. According to the program released by
the department, the selected candidates will be given one month training in the
district from June 17. After this, nine-month training will start, in which the
candidates will be trained about forensic science, cyber crime and 39 laws.
