Mumbai, 14 June (HS):
Two people died in an explosion in a cloud kitchen in Mumbai’s Mahim West
region. A compressor blast in the kitchen led to a major fire near Makhdum Shah
Durgah on Cadel Road in Mahim.
Eight people, who
received burn injuries, were rushed to the Sion Hospital, where one individual
was declared dead by the doctors, and one more died during treatment on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Noor Alam (38) and Pravin Pujari (34). Mukesh
Gupta (34), Shivmohan (24), Dipali Godatkar (24), Sana Sheikh (25), Shridevi Bandichhode
(31), and Kamlesh Jaiswal (22) are being treated in the Sion Hospital.
Police are investigating the cause of the blast and fire.
