New Delhi, June 14 (HS) : The Axiom-4 commercial mission, carrying Indian astronaut Shubhashu Shukla and three others to the International Space Station, is now rescheduled for launch on June 19. Shukla will be the second Indian, after Rakesh Sharma, to reach the station. The mission faced multiple delays but has been confirmed for launch by SpaceX, resolving prior issues.
Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, announced the new launch date. Axiom-4 will lift off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida aboard a Falcon-9 rocket. This mission represents a major milestone for India's human spaceflight program, marking Shukla's participation alongside an international crew after earlier launch attempts on June 11, May 29, and June 8.
