Despite Beddingham scoring 45 runs, South Africa was bowled out for 138 runs in their first innings. Australia currently leads by 218 runs with two wickets remaining as they prepare for their second innings on Friday. Bedingham remarked on the opportunity they have, noting the team's excitement and confidence, though he acknowledged the difficulties posed by the bowlers, with 28 wickets falling in the first two days.
