Stuttgart, June 13(HS): Germany's Alexander Zverev advanced to the Stuttgart Open 2025 quarterfinals by beating France's Corentin Moutet 6-2, 7-6(7). Preparing for Wimbledon, Zverev, who reached the French Open quarterfinals, noted his struggle on grass courts without titles. He stated that winning is paramount, expressing satisfaction about progressing to the next match despite a tough second set. Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime joined him in the quarterfinals after his win against Giovanni Mpechi Pericard (6-4, 6-4), marking his first grass court victory since 2022. He will compete against 17-year-old wildcard Justin Engel, who made history by defeating seventh seed Alex Miceli (6-4, 6-4) without facing a break point. Engel is now the youngest quarterfinalist in Stuttgart Open history and the youngest in any ATP grass event since Boris Becker in 1985.
