Dhubri (Assam), 12 June (HS): Two youths were caught by the local people with fake notes in Bherbheri of Bilasipara under Dhubri district and handed over to the police.

The arrested youths have been identified as Asif Ali and Hafizul Sheikh, residents of Paraura village of BTR. These youths had reached Bherbheri market to circulate fake notes. They bought various items from a shop in Bherbheri and gave fake notes to the shopkeeper.

Here, seeing a large amount of fake notes in the hands of the youths, the local people informed the Sapatgram police. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot and arrested the youths involved in the business of fake notes.

The police have seized 20 fake notes of five hundred rupees, 2 mobile phones and an e-rickshaw from the youths. The police is interrogating both of them about other people involved in the business of fake notes.
