Delhi, 11 June (H.S.): The Indian Army contingent has arrived in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the Multinational Military Exercise KHAAN QUEST, scheduled from 14th to 28th June 2025. This exercise will enhance peacekeeping capabilities and involves military forces worldwide. The previous iteration took place from 27th July to 9th August 2024. The Indian contingent consists of 40 personnel, primarily from the KUMAON REGIMENT, including one Woman Officer and two Women Soldiers. The exercise aims to prepare the Indian Armed Forces for multinational peacekeeping missions, enhancing interoperability and readiness for operations under the UN Charter. It will focus on physical fitness, joint planning, and tactical drills, including establishing checkpoints, patrolling, evacuating civilians, and counter-IED operations. KHAAN QUEST promotes sharing best practices and fostering camaraderie among soldiers from participating nations.
