New Delhi, June 10 (H.S.): The domestic stock market is experiencing a positive trend following early volatility. Initially, trading started strong, but benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty quickly fell under selling pressure. However, buying activity soon resumed, leading both indices to recover. After the first hour, the Sensex was up 0.12 percent, while Nifty gained 0.21 percent. Leading stocks such as Grasim Industries, IndusInd Bank, and UltraTech Cement saw gains between 4.08 percent and 1.42 percent. In contrast, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints, and HDFC Life recorded losses ranging from 1.26 percent to 0.91 percent.

In total, 2,427 stocks were active, with 1,540 in profit and 887 in loss. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 20 were in the green thanks to buying support, while 10 were in the red. In the Nifty index, 34 out of 50 stocks showed gains, leaving 16 in negative territory. The BSE Sensex opened at 82,643.73 points, initially dropping to 82,240.40 points due to selling but later rising to 82,545.53 points, gaining 100.32 points by 10:15 AM. Similarly, the NSE Nifty opened at 25,196.05 points, fell to 25,055.45 points, but then recovered to 25,157 points with a gain of 53.80 points. On the previous trading day, the Sensex closed at 82,445.21 points, up 0.31 percent, while Nifty finished at 25,103.20 points, up 0.40 percent.
