London, June 10(HS): Manchester City has acquired Algerian left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £31 million ($42 million), signing him to a five-year contract until summer 2030. Ait-Nouri expressed his excitement, stating that choosing Manchester City was an easy decision for him and his family, praising the team's playing style and calling it an honor to join. He highlighted the team's recent dominance in football and his eagerness to learn from Coach Pep Guardiola.

With last season lacking a specialist left-back, Ait-Nouri's addition is expected to enhance the team's balance. He is the first signing of the summer for Manchester City and is set to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup match against Moroccan club Wydad AC in Philadelphia on June 18.
