31 May (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath and Chief Justice BR Gavai inaugurated the Allahabad
High Court's new advocate chamber and parking complex, signifying a significant
improvement in the court's infrastructure.
The celebration honored enhanced facilities for the legal community as
well as the provision of significant monies for future expansion. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the
opening of a new advocate chamber and parking complex at the Allahabad High
Court, marking a significant step toward updating Uttar Pradesh's judicial
infrastructure. Adityanath emphasized
the state's commitment to judicial development, pledging Rs 1700 crore in
infrastructural funding for seven districts.
The Chief Justice of India, BR Gavai, who presided over the opening,
described the facility as one of the best in the world and applauded the
dedication to improved amenities.
Union
Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal was there, remarking that the event coincided
with Ahilyabai's 300th birth anniversary, highlighting the ongoing need of
infrastructure for effective government.
Justice BR Gavai dedicated the new edifice to the nation's inhabitants,
emphasizing its cutting-edge amenities for advocates. With over 2300 chambers and enough parking,
the building establishes a high standard for legal infrastructure in India,
demonstrating a deliberate investment in the judiciary's future.
