30 May (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that due to the valour of

India under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, today the whole world is

considering India's power and capability as an example. “Prime Minister Modi praised the valour and

courage displayed by the Indian Army by destroying the enemy's air defence

system under India's new defence policy. Made in India is the result of the

initiative started 10 years ago. Operation Sindoor is also a great example of

the success of self-reliant India,” remarked UP CM. Chief Minister Yogi was

addressing the gathering in Kanpur on Friday after Prime Minister Modi laid the

foundation stone and inaugurated projects worth Rs 47,600 crore for several

places in the state. Saluting the valor of the Indian Army, Yogi said that the bravery

displayed by the Indian Army by destroying the enemy's air defense system under

India's New Defense Policy is a realization of the power of Made in India

started by Prime Minister Modi 10 years ago. “This time the world has seen

India's power through Operation Sindoor. This is also a great example of the

success of self-reliant India,” Yogi remarked.

He

said that due to the valour and courage of India under the guidance of Prime

Minister Modi, today the entire world is considering India's power and

capability as an example.

Projects

worth Rs 47,600 crore are the foundation of developed India: Chief Minister

Yogi said that the projects worth Rs 47,600 crore received by the state are the

foundation of developed India. Yogi said that this is the first visit of the

Prime Minister to Uttar Pradesh after Operation Sindoor. I welcome him wholeheartedly

on behalf of the people of the state. This land was once the pioneer of

industrial revolution and today it is going to write a new saga of development.

Describing

Operation Sindoor as a symbol of India's military power and self-reliance, Yogi

said that first surgical strike, then air strike and now Operation Sindoor, the

Indian Army under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi has shown the world

that India now believes not only in responding but also in deciding the style

of responding. This is a strong example of Made in India and self-reliant

India. The Chief Minister said that today's program is a big step towards

taking Uttar Pradesh forward as the 'growth engine' of developed India. He said

that after the first phase of Kanpur Metro, which was started by Modi in the

year 2021, now the second phase has been inaugurated, which will make the

public transport system of the city modern and convenient.

Minister Yogi counted UP's achievements in the energy sector: Referring to the

energy sector of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister said that with the start of

thermal power plants in Panki, Ghatampur, Jawaharpur (Etah), Obra (Sonbhadra)

and Khurja (Bulandshahr), the power capacity of the state has increased from

15,000 MW to 25,000 MW. By the end of the year, it will increase by another

4000 MW. While counting the achievements of UP, Yogi said that electricity has

reached one lakh 21 thousand hamlets of the state and free connections have

been given to 1.78 crore poor families. Under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar

Yojana, free rooftop solar facility has been provided to 1.31 lakh houses so

far and the target of more than 11 lakh applications will be completed soon.

The Chief Minister said that this development journey that started from Kanpur

is not just the story of one city, but the progress of the entire Uttar

Pradesh. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, UP is today touching new

heights in every field from security to prosperity.
