New Delhi, May 30 (H.S.): Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended Goa Day's cultural program at Delhi Secretariat, organized by the Delhi government's Department of Art, Culture, and Language. She highlighted the significant contributions of Delhi's Goan community to both their state and the nation through hard work. Goa's natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and developmental spirit were also acknowledged. The Delhi government plans to celebrate each state's foundation day with dignity. The event featured performances by Sahitya Kala Parishad artists, showcasing Goa's traditional folk dances and music, with the Fugdi dance being a standout, captivating the audience. Art, Culture, and Language Minister Kapil Mishra emphasized Goa's leading role in culture, tourism, and economics, and the ongoing strengthening of social, cultural, and educational ties between Delhi and Goa. A special exhibition was held to display Goa's artistic traditions, craftsmanship, and cultural symbols, underscoring the pride of Goa's heritage for the nation.
